Planday announces CEO resignation
COPENHAGEN, 18 November 2022 – Planday from Xero (Planday), one of Europe’s leading workforce management solutions, has announced that after more than 11 years as the company’s CEO, Christian Brøndum has decided to resign from the position.
Since 2011, Christian has led Planday through important stages of its international growth to become one of Europe’s leading workforce management solutions, supporting more than 400,000 employee users across Europe and the US, through to its acquisition by Xero in April 2021. Today, Planday operates in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the UK, Germany, Australia and the US.
Commenting on the announcement, Christian states: “It has been an exciting 11 years at Planday, and I am proud of the journey and achievements we have accomplished as a team. I am honoured to have played an important role in Planday’s success, and I have full confidence in the management team and all the amazing ‘Plandayers’ to continue Planday’s future growth.”
Xero Chief Growth Officer, Chris O’Neill adds: “We acknowledge, thank and congratulate Christian for his significant contribution to Planday’s international success, and more recently Xero, and wish him all the very best for the future.”
As Planday completes its recruitment process for the CEO role, Chris O’Neill, Xero’s Chief Growth Officer, will oversee the Planday business. Christian’s final day at Planday will be on 31 December 2022.
