How does it work?

  • Sync Planday to Zenegy in a few simple steps.

  • Ensure your salary identifiers, salary codes in Planday match what Zenegy expects.

  • In Zenegy you process payroll with accurate data, while scheduling stays aligned.

Set up your integration

  • Confirm Administrator access in Planday (full departments, payroll settings) and access in Zenegy (integration/setup permissions).
  • In Planday: Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Zenegy. Choose to connect via API or prepare the format for manual export.
  • Map salary codes in Planday so your pay items match what Zenegy expects (normal hours, overtime, supplements). Configure absence settings if required.
  • If using manual export: In Planday go to Payroll → Payroll export, choose format “Zenegy”, download the file and import into Zenegy.
  • If using API: Follow the Zenegy API setup guide to enable automatic sync.
  • Run a pilot export/pay-run: Validate employee data, hours, salary codes and any absence info. Once confirmed, roll out to full payroll cycle.
