How does it work?

  • Sync Planday to Runwell in a few simple steps.

  • Pair Planday with Runwell, link users and ensure role-mapping is accurate.

  • HR and operations teams can track shifts, roles and staff changes with less effort.

Set up your integration

  • Ensure you have Administrator access in Planday (rights across all departments, integration settings) and in Runwell (integration/organization settings).
  • In Planday: Go to Settings → Integrations → Overview and find Runwell; click “Set up” and authorise the connection.
  • In Runwell: Go to Settings → Organization → Integrations → Planday, enter the App ID and Token from Planday, then click Connect.
  • In Runwell: Pair your locations and departments with Planday’s departments (via the “Pairing locations and users” section).
  • Map users: match Planday users to Runwell team members to ensure shift and role data flows correctly.
  • Pilot: test with a subset of employees/locations, verify data synchronises (departments, shifts, roles). Then deploy across your full organisation.
