How does it work?

  • Connect your systems using the API credentials.

  • Map which Personio entities map to Planday departments.

  • Employee profiles, statuses and approved leaves from Personio flow into Planday.

Set up your integration

  • Ensure you have Administrator access in Planday (with rights over all departments and the integration settings).
  • In Personio: Navigate to Marketplace → search for Planday → Connect. Generate new API-credentials with Employee + Absence read access.
  • In Planday: Go to Settings → Integrations → Overview → Personio → Connect. Enter your Client ID & Secret, authorise, then proceed to mapping.
  • Data mapping: Select which Personio entities map to Planday Departments. Decide if you want automatic daily import of current and future employees or a one-time import.
  • Validate: After setup, check that the imports work (employee list appears in Planday, absence data shows correctly). Then enable full roll-out.
