How does it work?
Map and export approved shift hours, roles and cost centres so they align with Dynamics

Set up your integration
- Ensure you have Administrator access in Planday (for shifts, employee profiles, cost centres) and in Dynamics/ Navision C5 (for payroll wage codes, employee master data).
- In Planday: Go to Settings → Integrations, select the “Dynamics/ Navision C5” payroll export option, and configure export format to align with your payroll import.
- In Dynamics/ Navision C5: Confirm your import template matches Planday’s export (employee IDs, cost centres, wage codes). Map the fields accordingly.
- Run a pilot: Export a small set of hours data from Planday, import into Dynamics/ Navision C5, check mapping, run a test payroll, confirm employees’ hours and pay items are correct.
- Roll out: After successful validation, use the workflow for live payroll runs, monitor first full pay-cycle, and adjust mapping/exports as necessary.
