How does it work?
Sync Planday to Fortnox in a few simple steps.
Ensure salary codes match Fortnox Cause codes, and that departments/cost-centres are aligned.
After shifts are approved in Planday, generate and preview the payroll file then proceed with the pay-run.
Set up your integration
- Make sure you have Administrator access in Planday (rights over departments, payroll setting, integrations) and appropriate integration rights in Fortnox.
- In Planday: Go to Settings → Integrations → Fortnox → Set up. Authorise the Fortnox connection.
- Configure mapping: In Planday, under Settings → Payroll → General, ensure your Salary codes are set; under Employees, ensure Salary identifier fields match to Fortnox employee IDs.
- Optional: Enable cost centre export by adding department numbers in Planday and enabling “Include department number (Fortnox cost centre)” in the Fortnox integration settings.
- Test: Run a preview for a small date range or subset of employees; verify hours, supplements and codes appear correctly in Fortnox. Then deploy for your full payroll cycle.
