A fond farewell to co-founder Anders Frederiksen

We’re sharing some bittersweet and exciting news with our community. At the end of this year, our co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer, Anders Frederiksen, will be concluding his role at Planday. 

As one of Planday’s two co-founders, Anders has been at the heart of our company since day one, playing a central role in building the business we are all proud to be part of today. Quite simply, we would not be here without his vision, dedication and leadership. His impact is everlasting, woven into the very DNA of Planday. 

Anders has decided to step back from his role at Planday to focus on new and exciting ventures. This is a planned transition and he remains a trusted friend of the business, cheering us on as we continue to grow. Anders will continue his journey in the start-up ecosystem as a General Partner at People Ventures — taking the learnings, experience and mindset from the Planday journey and actively using them to invest in and support early-stage companies in bringing their products to market and scaling successfully.

As part of this planned transition, we’re pleased to share that Yafa Al-Raheb will be joining Planday as Chief Revenue Officer. Yafa brings deep experience in scaling SaaS and AI-driven businesses across EMEA, North America and APAC, including leadership roles at Phrase, Slack, and Microsoft. 

We are deeply grateful for everything Anders has given to Planday. His legacy provides a strong foundation for our future, and we look forward to carrying it forward as Yafa steps into the CRO role and leads us into our next chapter.
